Chartered March 9, 1940.  

 

The Optimist Club of Albuquerque was sponsored by the Optimist Club of Santa Fe, not the current one, and not the one before that, but the one that was built in 1939. The original Optimist Club of Santa Fe was built by the Optimist Club of El Paso. 

 

Meetings:  MCM Elegante Hotel, on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each Month at 12:10 p.m.

The Optimist Club of Albuquerque is reknown for helping other clubs with their projects, as shown to the right where they are helping with Coronado Bike Safety (where OCA totally MADE the event!), and the Sunport Easter Egg Hunt.

 

ABOVE:  OCA supports a monthly Respect for Law program with the Albuquerque Police Department, has interesting speakers, and meets socially.
